6. The past progressive tense : What was Nam doing at 8 o’clock last night? Nam was watching TV at 8 o’clock last night. Form: Subject + was /were + V-ing Uses: -To indicate an action that was in progress at a point of time in the past. Say: What each person was doing at 8 o’clock last night?
