AIMS: - To test the language SS have studied and the skills they have practiced since unit 7 to unit 11: speaking, reading, writing, listening. - To test students’ knowledge from unit 7 to unit 11. II. CONTENTS 1. Phonetics: - Sounds: /e/, /ei/; /t/, /id/, /d/; and Stress: 2-syllable words, 3-syllable words. 2. Vocabulary related to the topics: traffic, films, festivals around the world, sources of energy, travelling in the future. 3. Grammar: - Tenses: the present perfect tense, the present simple tense ,the simple past tense, the future simple tense, the future continuous tense, present continuous tense. 4. Structures: - Imperative with more/less - Compound sentences - -ed/-ing adjectives - Adverbial phrases - Connectors: because, although, despite / in spite of, however, nevertheless - H/Wh – questions - like to+ V/ V-ing - Past simple: “used to” - to be used to + Ving - a/ an/ some/any - Passive voice - The future simple passive - Will for future prediction - Possessive pronouns - Prepositions III. EXERCISES WRITTEN TEST A. Listening: Listen and do the task: true or false statements, answer the questions. B. Phonetics: I. Choose the word whose underlined part is pronounced differently. II. Choose the word whose stress is different from the others. C. Reading: Read the passage, then do the tasks below: True or False statements/ Answer the questions. D. Writing I.
