UNIT 9: * Vocabulary 1.1- Simple past tense : Thì quá khứ đơn dùng để diễn tả hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ và chấm dứt trong quá khứ. + Thể xác định - S + was / were + O (Ex: It was cold yesterday) - S + V 2/ ed + O (Ex: She thought sewing was a useful hobby) Hoa made a skirt and she tried it on. + Thể phủ định - S + was / were + not + O Ex: Yesterday was not February the second. - S + did + not + V-inf + O Ex: I didn’t play volleyball last week. + Yes / No question. - Was / Were + S + O ? → Yes, S + was /were Ex: Was it cold yesterday? → No, S + wasn’t / weren’t - Yes, it was. / No, it wasn’t. - Did + S + V-inf + O ? → Yes, S + did Ex: Did Hoa make a skirt? → No, S + didn’t - Yes, she did. / No, she didn’t. Little + U.N → .less + U.N + than Few + C.N → .fewer + C.N + than Uncountable noun ( U.N ) : danh từ không đếm được Countable noun ( C.N ) : danh từ đếm được. * Fewer & less được dùng chỉ số lượng ít hơn, kém hơn.
