1. GIA THUY SECONDARY SCHOOL REVISION SCHOOL –YEAR: 2017-2018 FOR THE SECOND TERM TEST GRADE 7 I. AIMS: - To test students’ speaking, reading, writing and listening skill. - To test students’ knowledge from unit 7 to unit 11. II. CONTENTS 1. Tenses: - Tenses: the present perfect tense, the present simple tense, the simple past tense, the future simple tense, the future continuous tense, present continuous tense. 2. Structures: - Compound sentences - -ed/-ing adjectives - Connectors: because, although, despite / in spite of, however, nevertheless - H/Wh – questions - like to+ V/ V-ing - Past simple: “used to” - Passive voice - Possessive pronouns - Prepositions 3. Vocabulary related to the topics: traffic, films, festivals around the world, sources of energy, travelling in the future. 4. Phonetics: - Sounds: /e/, /ei/; /t/, /id/, /d/; and Stress: 2-syllable words, 3-syllable words. III. EXERCISES A. WRITTEN TEST A. Listening: Listen and do the task: true or false statements, answer the questions. B. Phonetics: I. Choose the word whose underlined part is pronounced differently. II. Choose the word whose stress is different from the others.
