Vocabulary: end up, second hand, junk yard, treasure, foam, nonsense, folk . Grammar: conditional sentence type 1 * Skills : Reading & speaking. * Attitute: Ss know how to protect the environment. II-Preparation - Material: Text book, workbook, pictures, sub- board. - Equipments: Tape, cassette. III- Teaching process 1-Organization 2-Oral test Homework correction 3- New lesson A. Warm up: Chatting. - T: asks Ss some questions about the poetry. + Have you read an English poem? + Do you understand it? + Do you think it is easy to understand? B. Presentation. a. Pre – reading: - T: introduces some new words: + Junk yark (n): bói phế thải (explanation) + treasure (n): kho bỏu (translation) + hedge (n): hàng rào (visual ) + nonsense (n): điều vụ nghĩa , dại dột (translation) + foam (n): bọt (picture) + end up (v): kết thỳc (explanation) - T: helps Ss to read new words and asks them to read. - Ss: listen and repeat the new words. + Checking: Rub out and Remember + True or false? - T: sets the sence: “The boy and his mother are having picnic in the park. ( - His mother will take home right away.) 4.Do you think the boy’s questions silly? Why(not)? ( - No, because he is right, if he throw the bottles that will be polluting the wood/ park.) 5.What does the poet want us to learn about keeping the environment unpolluted? ( - The poet wants us to learn that everyone is responsible for keeping the evironment from pollution.) c. Post- reading: Discussion: G1 + 3: What could you do in your house to minimize pollution? G2 + 4: What could you do in your school to minimize polluton? - T: divides the class into four groups.

Vocabulary: (to) complain - complaint (n), complication (n), resolution (n), refreshment (n), a fly (n), (to) float, (to) prohibit, (to) fine. Grammar: No * Skills : Writing & speaking. * Attitute: Ss know how to protect the environment. II-Preparation - Material: Text book, workbook, pictures, sub- board. - Equipments: Tape, cassette. III- Teaching process 1-Organization 2-Oral test - Write new words. - Read the text the answer the questions. 3- New lesson A. Warm up: appliance complaint Kind of letter congratulation B. Presentation. a. Pre – writing: - T: gives instructions: " Today you're going to write a complaint letter. Read the instruction in the box to know how to form this kind of letter. Then answer the questions” + How many sections are there (five) ? + What are they (S-C-R-A-P) ? + What is each section about ? - Ss: read the instruction and think of the answers to the questions. - T: collects the answers. * Exercise a): "Read the instruction. Read the letter and label each section with S, C, R, A, P. And put the sections into the correct order to form a letter of complaint." - T: supplies Ss word sheets and gives time to read and label the letter. - Ss: work in four groups. Ss tick the word sheets on the board in the right order. - T: remarks. Answer key: S: I am writing to you about the short stop of your trucks around my house on their way to the north. C: When the trucks of your company have a short break on the streets around my house, the drivers have left lots of garbage on the ground after their refreshment. When the trucks leave the place, the ground is covered with trash and a few minutes later there is smell and flies.

These days, many people begin to catch fish in the lake behind my house. I'm very worried because they use electricity to catch fish. I see a lot of fish died and floated on the water surface. Other animals such as frogs, toads, and even birds also died from electric shock waves. I would suggest the local authorities should prohibit and fine heavily anyone using this way of catching fish. Warm up: Getting started: - T: gives guiding questions: "Look at each picture and answer these following questions: 1/ Is there anyone using the water faucets? using the lights? watching the television? or listening to the radio ? 2/ Do you think those things are wasting energy ? If yes, what should we do to save energy ? 3/ What can you do to save energy in your real life ? - Ss: answer the questions individually first, then in pairs to compare. - T: elicits from Ss the answers and gives help. We should turn off the faucets when we don't use them, switch off the lights, the television and the radio when we don't watch and listen or before going to bed. 3/ (Ss' answers) B.
