  1. Week:7 Teaching date: 26 / 10 / 2021 Period :36 UNIT 6: STAND UP! Lesson 1: 1-3 A. OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: By the end of this period, students will be able to: - Recognize some actions about giving instruction: stand up, sit down, don't talk , - give and respond to instructions in class. - Express Ss' respect to their teachers by using and responding instructions. 2. Competences: - Problems solving and creation. - Communication and cooperation - Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work - Linguistic competence 3. Quality: - Ss confident in communicate with their friends. - Ss love English, friends and teacher. - Ss should ask for T’s permission in class. 4. Skills: Listening, writing and speaking skills 5. Vocabulary: stand up, sit down, don't talk, open your book, close your book, come here, be quiet 6. Grammar point: Stand up, Sit down, Don't talk, Open your book, Close your book, Come here, Be quiet B. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher’s aids: Teacher’s book, chalk, board, ruler, projector/TV, laptop and flashcards. 2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, notebooks C. PROCEDURES *Warm-up: (5’) - Get the class to say the chant Who’s that? And sing the More we are together song. - Then get pupils to open their books on Page 40 and read the title. I. Presentation. 1. Teach vocabulary: - Get pupils to open their books on Page 40 and read the title.
  2. - Show pictures to introduce the new words: Stand up, Sit down, Don't talk, Open your book, Close your book, Come here, Be quiet - Have students listen and repeat to each new word. - Have some students read the new words in front of the class. -Have the class look at the pictures of the part 1. Look, listen and repeat on the projector and ask students to open the books. - Ask pupils to look at the picture to point at each character and set the scene “you are going to listen to Mr loc and Ss give and respond to instructions. - Play the recording for pupils to listen to the tape. - Play the recording again and ask them to repeat a few times. - Play the recording again for them to repeat line by line. - Ask pupils to practice in pairs to act out the dialogue. - Go round and check pupils can repeat and understand the dialogue. - Check some pairs. Ask other pupils to give comments. - Give comments. 2. Introduce sentence pattern: (6’) - Tell the class that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about school using: * Structure: be quiet = don’t talk come here open your book close your book sit down stand up - Review the names of the lessons with the class. - Ask pupils to write down the new word and the structure in their notebook. - Have pupils practice asking and answering in pairs. - Call some pairs to practice in front of the class - Give feedback and correct mistakes of pronunciation. II. Practice * Let’s talk. - Tell the class that they are going to practice further - Ask students to look at the pictures in the book. Ask them to identify the characters’ actions in the pictures.
  3. - Ask Ss work in pairs. Call some pairs to act out - Correct their pronunciation III.Production * Playing Angry birds game. -Guide ss to play the game. There are 9 questions. -Divide the class into two teams. Each correct answer will be added 5 points, the incorrect answer will be deducted 1 point. - At the end of the game, the team that has the most point will be the winner. D. HOME-LINK (2’) - Retell the content of the lesson. - Do exercises in the workbook. Learn by heart the new words and structures . Weeek:7 Teaching date: 26 /10 / 2021 Period 38 UNIT 6: STAND UP! Lesson 2: 1-3 A. OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge: By the end of this period, students will be able to: - Ask for and give permission 2. Competences: - Problems solving and creation. - Communication and cooperation - Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work - Linguistic competence 3. Quality: - Ss confident in communicate with their friends. - Ss love English, friends and teacher. - Ss should ask for T’s permission in class. 4. Skills: Listening, writing and speaking skills 5. Vocabulary: speak, write, May I , can, can’t 6. Grammar point: May I come in, Mr Loc? – Yes, you can May I go out, Mr Loc? – No you can’t B. TEACHING AIDS

PROCEDURES *Warm-up: (5’) - Calling a group of five to come to the front of the class and act out the instructions learnt - Lead in the new lesson. I. Presentation. 1. Teach vocabulary: - Get pupils to open their books on Page 40 and read the title. - Show pictures to introduce the new words: come in, go out, speak, write, come here. - Have students listen and repeat to each new word. - Have some students read the new words in front of the class. -Have the class look at the pictures of the part 1. Look, listen and repeat on the projector and ask students to open the books. - Elicit the character and have Ss guess what they are saying. - Have Ss listen to the recording as they read the lines in the speech bubbles - Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles two times. - Divide the class into two groups. One repeat Mai’s part and the other repeat Nam’ part. - Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line in the speech bubbles to reinforce their pronunciation. - Ask pupils to practice in pairs to act out the dialogue. - Go round and check pupils can repeat and understand the dialogue. - Check some pairs. Ask other pupils to give comments. - Give comments. 2. Introduce sentence pattern: (6’) - Tell the class that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about permission using: * Structure: May I come in, Mr Loc? – Yes, you can May I go out, Mr Loc? – No you can’t - Have Ss look at the pictures on page 42 - Elicit the characters in the pictures and their names. Ask Ss to guess and complete the speech bubbles. - T models/ allocates the parts of characters Nam and Miss Hien to Ss - Ask them to act out the dialogue1. Repeat the step with some other pairs for pictures - Have Ss practice acting out the dialogue in pairs, using the pictures a, b, c, d. - Monitor the activity and offer held. Correct pronunciation errors (stress, assimilation of sounds, intonation) when necessary.
  5. - Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class. The others observe and give comments. - Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation. II. Practice * Let’s talk. - Tell the class that they are going to practice further - Ask students to look at the pictures in the book. Ask them to identify the characters’ actions in the pictures. - Ask Ss work in pairs. Call some pairs to act out - Correct their pronunciation III.Production * Playing Finding Pikachu game. -Guide ss to play the game. There are 9 questions. -Divide the class into two teams. Each team chooses the correct answer (Yes (happy faces) or No ( angry faces).Each correct answer will be added 1 point. - At the end of the game, the team that has the most point will be the winner. D. HOME-LINK (2’) - Retell the content of the lesson. - Do exercises in the workbook. Learn by heart the new words and structures
