2. Warm up: Greeting and play game ( Netword) - Greet the students. Then get the class to play game. Phu Quoc island Ha Long Bay Famous HCM city places - Lead students to the new lesson. Sam Son beach Activity 1: Language input 1. Look, listen and repeat - Ask students to look at the four pictures (page 18) and answer questions to identify the situation for the conversation. 1. Who are they? (They are Linda and Nam) 2.What are they talking about? (talking about holiday) - Tell students that they are going to practise a conversation among Mai and Peter - Play the recording more than once, if necessary, ask students to listen and repeat the dialogue - Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking. - Play the recording again for students to listen and repeat. - Ask students to look at pictures b, d (Activity 1) and answer the following questions: 4. What does Mai ask Peter?(Where did you go?) 5. How does Peter answer? (I went to Ha Long Bay) - Elicit the sentence patterns: Where did you go on holiday? – I went to _____.
